Disconnect Teams tenant

Disconnecting Live Hub from a Teams tenant takes three stages, in this order: free the users' phone numbers in Teams, remove the Teams connection, and then delete the tenant from Live Hub.

To disconnect Live Hub from your Teams tenant:

  1. In the Navigation pane, expand Voice channels, and select Microsoft Teams.

  2. Under Teams connection, click Manage.

The Teams Management portal opens in a new browser tab.

  3. In the Teams Management portal, select Users, and for every user with a phone number assigned or 'Enterprise Voice Enabled' set to Yes:

    1. Right-click the user, and select Assign Phone Number.
    2. Delete the phone number.
    3. Clear the 'Enterprise Voice Enabled' check box.
    4. From the 'Online Voice Routing Policy' list, select Global.
    5. Click OK.

Wait until every number has gone from the Users screen before continuing.

  4. Back in Live Hub, under Teams connection, click Remove.

Wait for the connection to disappear before continuing.

  5. Under Teams tenant, click Delete.

Live Hub leaves some configuration behind in the tenant. See Clean up residual configuration in Teams tenant.
